Georgia State Election Board May 11 2023 Letter to Columbia County

Published on August 17, 2023

Letter from Georgia State Election Board to election officials in Columbia County Georgia citing concerns about sharing private voter information with the Eagle AI.

"We are contacting your Board because of the report of a beta test you intend to conduct using third-party Eagle AI's Voter Integrity Software," the letter stated. "The use of Eagle AI software and services may implicate two Georga statutes : O.C.G.A § 21-2-225 (a) which prohibits voter registration forms or copies of them from being shared with the public. There may also be privacy laws that prohibit sharing of or access to information such as complete dates of birth, driver's license numbers, and social security numbers that would necessarily be included in registration forms and data compilations."
