SFOF Opposition to Biden Treasury Nominee Saule Omaravo

On December 7, 2021 SFOF President Derek Kreifels wrote to members of SFOF regarding Saule Omaravo withdrawing her nomination for U.S. Department of Treasury’s Comptroller of the Currency. Kreifels congratulated treasurers for "all the work [they] have done in [their] states to get the word out about this misguided candidate." The subject of the email read "VICTORY."
