ALEC and Honest Elections Project to Hold Private Briefing on “Network of Left-Wing Money” Influencing Redistricting
Published on July 14, 2022The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), alongside the Leonard Leo-backed Honest Elections Project, will host a private, invite-only dinner for state lawmakers to feature an "in depth review of the network of left-wing money" that they claim are funding "Marc Elias, Eric Holder, Arabella, and similar persons and entities to undermine election integrity and to influence congressional and state redistricting."
ALEC Board Member Bill Seitz invited lawmakers to “the gourmet dinner, to which we will be bussed from the ALEC opening evening reception to an undisclosed off-site location," according to an email obtained by Documented through a public records request. "As we all know far too well from our own costly redistricting battles, this is a mostly timely presentation because our congressional and state maps will only be good for the 2022 elections.”
Documented first published the invitation to the dinner on June 29.
